Challenge entry for A Day For Daisies- "In stitches"

 
One of my relatives had her first baby recently and posted a picture of her & her baby in a very similar pose as this digi. When I saw it I knew this one was for her.  I love the look of ADFD digis, especially of mothers and babies.


I did hand stitching around the border of the creamy colored paper.
I played with copics and watercolor pencils to emulate skin tones and hair.  I hope they love it!
