GIRLS ONLY!! for Shelly's Images Marvelous Monday

This has been a work in progess for quite a while, I mulled over what I was going to do for a long bit.  As much as I love card-making. I love making other things too.  I thought to the many weddings I've had the privilege to be a part of, and what may have made the day a bit less stressful or more memorable.
Crowd control has usually not been a problem, but keeping guys out of the female wedding party room has...(LOL)... so this GIRLS ONLY! sign was born.

I enjoyed coloring with Copics on this little flower girl, she has such a sweet expression. I found a bit of lace (it may have been from my wedding 23 years ago!) that was just the right size to make her skirt pop out.  If you look really hard in the close-up, you can see her shoes peeking through the lace!  I colored some white ribbon with my Copics to get her sash just the right color. I wish now I had made a tutorial on how I did this, but once I got started, I didn't stop to take pictures! (lol)  These photos were taken upstairs in my home, where some original 100 year old doors are.

Flower Girl is available at a special sale price on May 30th (today only!!).

There are wedding sentiments that will be
offered at Shelly's Images as freebies on June 3rd.

This sign is also entered in Shelly's Images TTT Challenge - Let it ALL hang out

Thanks so much for stopping in,
don't forget to say HI before you go,

  1. I'm really beginning to hate IE. It is almost impossible to post if you use it. This is my second attempt to comment. Your project is adorable! I think this would also be great for a little girl to keep any boys out of her room. LOL. Hugs, dj
