Hey y'all!, it's Laura from the badlands of Iowa.
I have been a bad, bad, bad DT member today,
(well, yesterday too....)
I got so excited about a sale at Michael's yesterday
that I forgot to get my card together,
only to realize I didn't have the digi I said I was going to use a few days ago.
Printer that was out of ink is now hopelessly broken, with new ink cartridges!!
(yep, I did that too!)
I get more mad at myself than anybody..grrrr
The camera I just got on ebay conked out on me, back to using my Droid for pics...
Then my preposted blog entries start popping up...grrr
Apologies to any that may have gotten the blank posts and thought is was your fault, it wasn't.
Sorry for the venting, hope y'all still love me tomorrow!
ANYWAYS....
I hope you enjoy this card, I need to remind myself sometimes that since
I AM NOT PERFECT, I can't expect everything around be to be perfect.
AND life can be WONDERFUL just like it is.
Maybe we all need reminders like this...
Go find "Just floating boy" in the new releases at the shop
I'm going to take this card most literally today, as the heat index is supposed to be around 110 - 115 degrees F.
When I'm not floating in the city pool, I will be thankful for a nice home with air conditioning.
Challenges:
LOL. Hey, I've hit post myself before I had anything there. This is a really lovely card. The sentiment is great and the little guy is adorable. Thanks for sharing. And now take a deep breath and repeat after me: "This too shall pass." LOL. Hugs, dj
ReplyDeleteSweet card, Laura! Stay cool! :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is too cute and I could do with one of those rubber things today in a pool lol
ReplyDeleteLOL! I saw your post on the JSL blog and just had to laugh. We've all had those days...weeks...months! And you're a GREAT DT!! Oh, and what a wonderful sentiment to go with that image.
ReplyDeleteSo cute Laura! I have those days often! Doing the blog was fun in the winter when life is slightly slower, but it is challenging in the summer when life is fast and crazy!
ReplyDeleteOh, man, I need to be reminded of this more often, too! What a fabulous sentiment! I love the image you paired it with-I hope just looking at it keeps you cool! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Laura!
