Hi y'all!
I'm mentally preparing myself still for winter (still).
It's gotten a little cold here, but no snow yet. YAY!
Each day that passes,
I keep thinking...one day closer to SPRING!
I just LOVE this snowy birds digi!
I mentioned last week (for the JSL Saturday Color Challenge) that I was considering
making one in every winter bird coloration I could come up with..
.so here I go again! LOL
Here's how I made this card:
I colored the birds on copy paper with Copics, as well as the ribbon.
Used a Spellbinders Nestablilites Label 10 for the diecut around the birds.
Go here to see the method I used to make the branches stick out.
Embossed part of a grocery sack with a Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder.
Sentiment tag is copy paper diecut with a Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangles layered on grocery sack kraft paper.
The grid behind the sentiment is a page from that old COLBOL book I found
(it's soooo big, I'll be making stuff from it FOREVER!)
Such a cute card, Laura!
ReplyDeleteI like the birds in this color too. Hugs, dj
