Clean Sweep with Just Some Lines

Hi y'all!
It's spring cleaning time!
I better hurry up before someone calls the Hoarders TV show on me!
I have resolved to organize, use up, give away, and yes, even throw away some stuff!

The challenge I'm giving to you is to make a card or project with AT LEAST 2 items that are at least 6 months old. C'mon, you know you've got stuff that's older than that!

Old stuff I used to make this card:
2 year old ribbon for bow
Plaid DP from DCWV Stack 7, about 1 year old
Cardstock from a pack I bought at Sam's Club about 10 years ago.
Gabby Sweeping with sentiment are new from Jehanne.

Here's what I'm doing EXTRA for the Spring Cleaning challenge.
This blog is getting mighty close to having 100 followers, I anticipate it happening any day now! AND I'm gearing up for another move. My husband is bugging me to pack up all my crafting stuff 3 months before we're going...(like that's gonna happen!)

I'm packing up some prize boxes for 3 (yes, 3!) extra winners in this Challenge. Here's the deal, the person that uses the OLDEST stuff on their project will win a box of goodies AND the person that uses the MOST old stuff on their project will win a different box of goodies. One person cannot win BOTH goody boxes, gotta spread the love around!
You don't have to be one of my followers to win one of these prizes, but you DO have to participate in this Just Some Lines Challenge.

THEN... I'm making up an extra blog candy goody box for 1 random winner that IS one of my followers!

Please be sure to specify HOW MUCH old stuff you've used AND the OLDEST stuff you used on your blog or in the comments here. I'm going to be personally checking out each entry. I hope maybe this extra challenge makes spring cleaning a bit more fun!
Love, Laura

  1. Laura, this is an adorable card. I love that sentiment an image. It would be perfect for an anniversary card. I'd love to win some of your stash. I'm a follower. I didn't notice where we sign up for the candy. But here's my comment. Hugs, dj

  2. Hooray for you, Laura! I think we all can empathize with the ancient craft stores. I have a trail of supplies from every hobby Ive ever tried...and there were lots!
    Cute card!

  3. Debbie, since you're a follower, you're already signed up!
The other 2 goody boxes are for the most old stuff and the oldest stuff used in a project for the Just Some Lines challenge.

  6. What a cutie! Great image and sentiment! Perfect paper too! I hear you on the hoarding thing! I still have items in my stash from when I first started scrapping 12 years ago! Stickers, paper, buttons. I try to use it then I see more stuff I just have to have and the thing that I just had to have yesterday is now old news!

  8. I have had the paint I used on my box since before Mickey and I got married, that is going on 9 years, so its probably 10 or 11 years old. The ribbon is about 2 years old. The paper is only about a year old. I try not to hold on to much stash, we just dont have the room, but as you can see from my 10 year old paint, I do have trouble letting some of it go lol.
