Keisha Watching with Just Some Lines

Hi y'all!

When I first saw this little bit of digi art, I thought, maybe she's listening to music...
no words this time, just music. Maybe the crickets or birds are giving her a little concert.
I was taught to read notes when I was little in school. Not the best at it, (that was a REALLY long time ago!) but it is nice to look at these notes and know the tune of what song I see with a little effort.

Keisha Watching, new from Jehanne
Colored with Copics on plain old copy paper, made little swirls in her wings with a white gel pen
Rhinestones from Michaels bargain bin, iridesent heart from stash
Used blue sky paper for background stuck to ATC made from a pizza box
Been using music pages in my work the past couple of weeks. Pretty much the same songbook that took it's last trip into some snow. Watch for it, there's sure to be more!

Since I'm getting so close to having 100 followers I'm getting ready to give out some candy...
I'll keep ya posted!

Thanks so much for visiting today!

  1. Hi Laura, this is a cute card. I also love the recycling of the songbook. I have several that could be re-purposed also. I wish I knew how to read music, but I never learned. Have a great day. Hugs, dj

  2. Very sweet Laura! Great use for a ruined songbook. This way nothing goes to waste and someone benefits from the beautiful music!

  3. Such an adorable image. I'm amazed that you were able to do that on copy paper. Great coloring.
