Growing in Unity Tuesday January 7, 2014 Upcycling

Well I'm back to being an Optician for my secular career.
Glasses are kind of my thing.
I LOVE this little set of stamps, Kit of the Month April 2011
small things Matter Most

I've gone a little crazy stamping my fax cover sheets, receipts and posty notes with this super cute trio..... everybody knows what MY stuff looks like!

The papers I used were kraft cardstock for the base.
Beach House series for the woodgrain look background and the sandy colored frame.
Used some stacked Spellbinders dies with the woodgrain paper mounted on some cheap chipboard (aka-- cereal box)
Pink zebra stripe on the cat eye frame and a mottled black for the bottom frame.

Here I go fussy cutting again. The lenses are made from the "foil" from a jar lid.

Thanks for stopping by again today.
Don't forget to comment, at the end of the week I'll pick a winner....it could be YOU!

Love, Laura

  1. Very cute glasses. Never thought of using cereal box and lid liner. Very clever and practical. Thanks for sharing your craftiness with us.
