I thought I could make a card without fussy cutting, but I can't seem to avoid it....
To me this card was all about just doing it, imperfections & all.
I used some copics to color up the funky girls.
I screwed up, took a different creative path on the inside of this card because my surface was uneven.
note to self:...Chest freezers don't always make the best stamping surfaces...
So here came some fussy cutting to save the day.
What do you think?
Cassie just wanted me to inform everybody that there's no way I could have finished this card without her. I took the leopard print from her stash.
Thanks sweetie!
Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to leave me a comment. THEY ROCK MY WORLD, really.
Love, Laura
Hi. What great cards! Those typewriters are so retro and perfect with the 'funky' stamp. The girls on the second card are again so dang cute colored like that with the 'funky' stamp. Both cards are really cute. Thanks for sharing. And I see nothing wrong with using your freezer as a stamping mat. (-:
ReplyDeleteThanks Ann,
ReplyDeleteThe top picture is usually the front or outside of my card. The 2nd pic is usually the inside of the card. The 3rd pic is usually the place on the back of my card that I sign and number.
Really cute card. I find myself fussy-cutting more and more.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris,
ReplyDeleteI love the look I can get only thru fussy cutting.
SO cute. I have that set, but haven't used it in years. Thanks for reminding me about it. I like how you colored the girls.
ReplyDeletethis is a good card no matter how many it took to make it.
