2014 International and Regional Conventions
What a wonderful experience this Convention was for us.
First time for many of us to attend an International Convention.
First time for me to set foot in New Orleans, Louisiana.
It was so nice to walk around and see lots of convention name tags.
I think it was was Cassie's favorite thing to hand out the goodies
we I made for the International Delegates. It was her "job".
She had so many pictures taken with brothers and sisters from all over the world.
She loved all the attention. Thanks for all the hugs and kisses.
The silliest thing she said was on Saturday.
She said "Mom, I don't like all the French kisses the brothers give me."
OHHHH darlin'...
what you call French kisses and what I call French kisses are WAAAAY different.
What a hoot. Someday she won't feel that way.... but I hope it's quite a while from now.
The International Delegates at our Convention were from France, Congo, The Netherlands, Belgium.
They were mostly French speaking, some speaking German and Norwegian.

when this is what grabbed our attention outside the Superdome.

We were not invited to an international but really enjoyed our regional convention, especially as our daughter got baptized :) Its nice you have posted about yours, I was going to post about ours too but have been so busy since then. Also I felt it was so long ago by now as we had ours in August, but now you have inspired me to try again :)

Yeah Pearl, Ours was in June. I have so many more pictures to add. I will get to it as I can, Congrats to your daughter making such a wise decision!

Oh my goodness! How surprised I was to look back in your archives from Jan.2016 and see this. I am a Witness from Massena, NY USA! This Convention looks amazing! The last International Convention I attended was in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1978! Warm Christian Greetings from your Sister Regina. :)
