I RUFF U

Hey y'all!  Laura here from the "badlands of Iowa"!
I've never had a dog like Bakster, an inside dog that fetches your paper and slippers.
The dogs we had around were "farm dogs", my favorite being Brutus.
Brutus was a huge German Shepherd/ Black Labrador that was part of my life from when I was about 4 to 17.
(I wish I had some photos of him, he died a few months before I got my first 35mm camera, my memory will just have to do)
He was such a big-hearted animal, snuggling and playing with kittens, always handy if I needed to go to the other end of the farm to make sure the hog sprayers were working on a hot summer night.
He considered himself the doorbell too, growling and chasing off wandering salesmen in their fancy pickup trucks. He never bit anyone, but he sure did do a good show.

You can go fetch Bakster at the shop....lol
Jehanne has really been cranking out some cute stuff!
Have a great week!!

  1. Laura he's adorable. We've only had a couple of dogs, and that's all they have been, is indoor ones. But they definitely bring joy to the soul. Their antics can bring a smile or laughter when we're at our lowest. You did a fantastic job with the layout of the card. Hugs, dj
