Hi y'all, Laura here from the "badlands of Iowa".
Just wanted to share a card I put together for the JSL DT
The image I used is "Emo Heart". I actually have a stack of images I colored from a while back that I keep ready to go to make a card.
I colored it a bit to brighten up the shirts with some Copics and it was good to go!
Had lots of fun making the embellishments for this card.

The music flowers were made with Tim Holtz diecuts and a tired old songbook. Used my Crop-a-Dile thingy to punch the holes for the eyelets and then to install the eyelets. The eyelets were originally white, so I used the Copics in coordinating colors to bring the cardstock and digi colors together. Cassie liked them so much she ended up jacking a few of my flowers so I had to make more!! LOL
I had picked up some orphaned puzzle pieces last week and Modge Podged sheets from an old Daily Text to them. Just by chance, the altered piece I put on this card is talking about marriage being successful if it's a threefold cord with God.
I think I'll probably end up using this for an engagement/wedding/anniversary card, but it isn't spoken for yet!

Great card. Loved the details!
ReplyDeleteCute Laura! Love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Laura. I wonder what the worn out song book was? lol. The flowers really did turn out nice. I must be blind, but I don't see any puzzle pieces on the card. But nice way to change them. I always have several copies around, and don't need all for my library. Hugs, dj
